There are numerous historical sites to visit in Paphos, so ensure you book a stay long enough to allow you to tick off the many sites, as well as leaving time to relax. You could spend hours exploring the Kato Pafos Archaeological Park, an important ancient Greek and Roman city which still isn’t fully excavated. Here you will see mosaics, as well as the remains of temples and theatres. Christians shouldn’t miss St. Paul’s Pillar, dating from 45AD, located where he attempted to convert Paphos from Paganism to Christianity. For children who aren’t interested in history, there’s a zoo and a waterpark. If you fancy playing a few rounds of golf during your break, you can head to Marios Golf Park, a 9-hole golf course that is 8km north of the hotel.

The bar service is very good including both the pool bar and the adult bar and the bartenders are very social and nice, Nikos was the best bartender for me and my group and gave us great service and good conversations inbetween

This a great family hotel and is almost perfect. The front of the hotel is amazing when you arrive. Reception seating area lacks atmosphere/personality, Check in is swift, friendly and being delivered to your room is very welcome. Our room was smaller than what we expected/what we have had in other hotels for 4 of us and considering what we paid. The room was also a little tired but clean. We had a land view garden room 429. Food and drinks in the mini bar were gratefully received, garden and patio furniture were very nice. Water, tea and coffee were delivered to the room each day. Robes and slippers in the rooms are a nice touch. The cleaner margarita was lovely and efficient. We used the main restaurant, the greats, captains deck, the American diner and the pool snack bar. All food was amazing although the pool snack bar food was quite limited/repetitive. The pool bar staff are amazing and work tirelessly to ensure you have a great holiday. Nothing is too much trouble and they make amazing cocktails. A special shout out to Ciprian (my personal favourite) although every team member was excellent. There was not a lot going on around the pool in the day. I’m not sure if this is because it was near the end of the season. Some of the pool areas were left in a terrible state at the end of the day so perhaps extra cleaning around the pool would help. The pools are cold in October. The cats also mess a lot on the grass areas near the entrances to the accommodation blocks and it smells bad so extra cleaning in these areas would help. The shows in the evening are good but you have to be in the show bar early to get a seat. We ended up standing every night to watch the show. There is normally a singer in the pool bar and although they are great singers its background type music. There is no where to go if you want to dance. The adult only bar was empty most of the time. There is no security on the back entrance to the hotel which seemed unusual to me so be careful if you have young kids running about. We used the hotel communal shower room as we traveled home late at night but there was no hairdryer in that room so beware if you plan on using this. The hotel is 3 minutes walk to the nearest sandy beach and 10 euro taxi in to ayia napa. Overall we had a great holiday. Some things this hotel does exceptionally well but just a couple of things prevent it from being perfect in my opinion. It’s the staff that make this place a 5 star!

Just back from a week at Olympic Lagoon. What can I say, I loved everything about this hotel. The staff are really friendly, attentive and plentiful. The rooms are really nicely appointed. The food & drink available in the bars & restaurants is of a really good quality and variety. I loved their system of allocated sunbeds and being able to order a breakfast omelette orvpancakes from your table - such simple ideas but they really save a lot of time, and make all the difference, so I love the way they think outside the box to make the holiday experience better. The customer service is amazing, from all the staff! The hotel is situated outside of the main town of Ayia Napa, with the lovely Landa beach across the road and Nissi Beach just 2 bus stops away. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and we met many people who were regular return visitors, so the hotel has a good reputation.
