Long Beach Resort Hotel and Spa De Luxe is an all Inclusive hotel near Turkler, on Turkey’s southern coast. The sand and pebble beach can be accessed directly via a tunnel. Here you can relax, sunbathe or take a dip in the Mediterranean Sea. There are eight pools at Long Beach Resort Hotel (three exclusively for children), while on the sun terraces you can catch some rays. The younger guests will particularly enjoy the water park, with its 11 slides. If you're looking to unwind, you can soak in a whirlpool, sauna and steam room, or enjoy the various treatments in the spa.
There are a range of sports and activities for the whole family to enjoy during the day and evening. Mini golf, beach volleyball, darts, football, tennis and mountain biking are just some of the activities on offer. If you have kids don’t miss the international children's club, playground and small funfair, which has rides and bumper cars. In the evening they put on shows, if that’s not your thing you may prefer the nightclub.
The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also five a la carte restaurants to tantalise your tastebuds. The range includes hearty Turkish, Italian and Mediterranean, as well as more exotic Chinese and Mexican options. In the afternoon you’ll find an ice cream buffet at the pool bar, while light refreshments are available from the snack bar.
The rooms at Long Beach Resort Hotel & Spa come with a minibar, satellite TV and centrally controlled air conditioning. For a picture postcard view of the Mediterranean, upgrade to the sea view option.
The resort is 50m from the nearest beach at Incekum, and 4km from Turkler, the nearest town. The hotel is within driving distance of the resort of Alanya, 17km away. It's famous for its wide beaches, including Kleopatra beach, named after the Egyptian ruler. The city is also home to Alanya Castle, a fort that's been transformed into an open-air museum. The municipality is surrounded by other relics of the Ottoman Empire, including red-tiled villas and Kizilkule tower. Don’t miss the chance to visit nearby Dim Cave, with its limestone stalactites and stalagmites.

Poor service
Upon arrival to the hotel we were taken to our room on the 2nd floor. The room was not 5* I would give it 3* at most. There were several issues that we had to report to Reception, tiles in bathroom not clean, wardrobe door handle broken, bathroom door handle broken completely off from the inside, tvs didn’t work, the electrics for the room (main trip box) was open and exposed and I must say the staff did come and fix it promptly but it wasn’t a great start. Lifts are terrible. If you click the button the lift just goes past you even if it’s going in the direction you need, we ended up using the stairs a lot and it seemed an issue to others as they were carrying strollers up and down the stairs. It would be a big issue to anyone with a disability as they have the restaurant and arcade, shops, spa, gym etc as well as access to the pools on the lower floors. The amenities to this hotel are fantastic. Evening entertainment was brilliant with lots to choose from, the splash park, slides and fair etc for children was really good and I couldn’t fault it. I will add there’s a few extra costs such as ice cream, smoothies, candy floss etc as optional extras but keep in mind this is not part of the all inclusive. Restaurant and food - there’s a lot of places to choose from but keep in mind if you’re going for more than a week it gets repetitive and there’s not a lot of variation. It would also say this isn’t 5* food. Bars - this was a huge issue for us. The bar staff were so rude and ignorant. We were blatantly ignored and by our 4th night we had lost patience. Particularly the piano bar and also the coffee and cake area. Special mention to Ali at the main pool bar area (salt water pool) who was the only member of staff who acknowledged our existence at the bar. I had read some reviews in relation to being British and not feeling welcome before we arrived and we ignored them thinking “there’s always that one couple” but as a family of 4, we did not feel welcome at this hotel. The staff were beyond rude and we did not get the service we paid for. The visitors to the hotel are mainly German and Russian and many of them will not treat you with respect, will barge into you, walk into you like you don’t exist, push in whilst in a queue and just be quite frankly rude. I wasn’t aware just how much of a British thing it was to queue until visiting here haha! But dare you treat them with the same manners you’ll be eyeballed. During our stay we did not feel welcome at this hotel and we would never come back for that reason. It’s such a shame as it has so much potential but unfortunately for us it just was not worth what we paid. I understand that the hotel cannot help the behaviour of other visitors, but when the staff treat you the same there’s just no escaping the disrespect and feeling alienated. It was also our first time to turkey and unfortunately has completely put us off ever returning back to the country as we suffered similar treatment in the airport, perhaps customer service just isn’t in their culture but I was happy to get back home, go out for some food and be served with a smile. I would like to add I’m by no means a fussy person and can tolerate staff who can’t be bothered at times I get it. But even a tip got us no where, they just didn’t like brits and it was very blatantly obvious we were treated so differently to others. We spoke to a few British families we bumped into in the common areas and they all said the same. It got to a point where I thought maybe I was the problem, even being overly polite got us no where they were just uninterested and rude regardless. A smile, please, thank you, tips and addressing them by name got you no where. I would like to say thank you to Ali at the main pool bar who did acknowledge our existence, Salim in the main restaurant who took care of us and the maid who smiled and said hello each day. The only 3 members of staff who were polite and treated us like human beings.
Awesome resort/facilities but too many needless letdowns
Firstly I’d say to the “don’t come here if your British” is just silly, the place was full of Russians, Latvians, Polish and wherever else and there was not one problem with them when I was there, get over yourself if you think resorts should be full of “English speaking staff and people”. I’d like to say this resort as a place is wonderful, the place is spotless, has great pools, restaurants and plenty of bars and places to snack at, I can’t fault the resort in that way because it was a perfect place to get away and not have to leave the resort at all. Now where I feel it unfortunately wasn’t great, with the exception of a few I feel like the staff look like they couldn’t care less, from the restaurant to the bars (and I feel bad writing this because there were a couple of barmen who were great) a lot looked like they just couldn’t be bothered and for a big resort as impressive as this that’s a massive letdown for me, people pay thousands to come on holiday and well that kind of reception from staff there is just rude really. The food…. Well there’s plenty of places to chose from but the food is pretty much all the same (not including A le carte restaurants), the main restaurant was mediocre and very repetitive every night and the “bar” snack areas were good but not great, also I feel like staff serving food at bar areas could be a little quicker as there were ques for things like chicken kebab meat etc where is wasn’t for having to wait to cook but just rather them not keeping on top of serving quick enough and if you want pizza be prepared to que. Deserts were great throughout though. The Spa was great, compliments to the staff there and I was treated great by the staff there and thoroughly enjoyed my treatment. The gym is a great asset to this hotel, well equipped for a hotel gym and the owner is a friendly helpful guy. One more thing I’d like to comment on though is how slippery the walkways and paths are, please take care when walking here as it’s dangerously slippery in some areas. My room…there’s no complaints there, I was supposed to be in villa which I was disappointed to not be able to get but I stayed in the wooden chalet’s which were clean, well maintained and really nice so I enjoyed staying in there. In all would I come back here? I’d say no but by all means I’d say try it as your experience of the place might be different from mine and as I say the place is an impressive resort with plenty to do but for me there were just too many needless letdowns so sorry I’d give it a miss in future unfortunately.
Nine times in Long Beach
So we went with 35 persons and hotel has been best so far for us in Turkey. This year was very dissapointing, so we got our rooms and safe was locked. Everybody left rooms and two rooms had money stolen from wallets wich were in packpacks. Andministration was not helpful and told that we lost or miscalculated our money, but we now where and how much we spend. Especially on the first day of our vacation. So one couple asked to change the standard room for villa and wanted to pay with card. Admin sayd that they should pay in cash and so they did. Two day's later they called us ond told that the cash we gave was tip and have to pay for villas extra. Totally crazy trip and this would be our last time in Long Beach Hotel for sure.
