Located in Belek, this Turkish gem is a real delight. A wonderland theme park, three a la carte restaurants, a spa and a chocolate house, are just some of the exciting range of features on offer at this luxurious family-friendly resort. And it’s only a 30-minute drive from Antalya Airport.
Wonderland is much more than just a theme park. You can spend hours on the fairground rides, having fun in the wave pool, drifting along the lazy river or disappearing into the black hole. There are further adult only pools, as well as kid friendly options, complete with waterslides. If you get peckish let your nose guide you to the delicious offerings from the street food trucks. You can make your stay even more luxurious by reserving one of the five pavilions (payable locally) where you will be served champagne, fruits, chocolates, desserts and snacks.
The Grandy Kids Club caters for all young guests. Tired toddlers can have an afternoon nap in the sleeping room, while primary school aged children can take part in a fun mock archaeological excavation. Meanwhile, the teenagers have a kick around on the football pitch or challenge their mates to Playstation® games. A mini disco is held daily, alongside a cinema club and workshops.
Within the spa guests have complimentary access to two indoor pools (one saltwater), two saunas, a steam room, a Turkish bath, a salt room and a fitness centre. For an additional charge you can book a massage or a beauty treatment.
The Grand Sabor main restaurant is open for all meals. Even sleepy heads won’t miss out on breakfast, as it’s offered until 11am. While in the evening make your selection from the tasty Italian, Ottoman and Asian options. But leave some space for a visit to Lochi Chocolate House. Here, you can sample luxury handmade cocoa products, before deciding which ones you’re going to take home to treat your favourite friends to. That is, if you can resist the temptation to eat them on the plane home.
For something special, reserve a table for dinner at one of the a la carte restaurants. Meat eaters will want to get their teeth into something juicy at the Steakhouse. While pescetarians may opt for the Azul Felicia seafood restaurant. Alternatively, take your taste buds on a journey around the world at Carat, where only the finest international cuisine is served.
In the main building you will find three bars open until midnight, all of which serve a refreshing range of soft and alcoholic drinks. But as your name isn’t Cinderella, you can dance the night away until 2am at the Back Street Disco Bar. While you’re in Turkey you must visit the Coffee Shop to sample some real Turkish coffee. Plus, as you’d expect there are bar options both poolside and on the beach.
Standard rooms are air conditioned and boast a balcony, a double bed, a single bed and a sofa. The mini bar (restocked daily) contains complimentary mineral water, beer, soft drinks, crackers and salted peanuts. The Family option features two bedrooms and sleeps up to four, while the Deluxe Family offers an additional shower and accommodates groups of five. Or for an even more luxurious stay choose the second floor Lake House room where you benefit from your own Jacuzzi.
Within Belek you will find golf courses and sandy beaches. The town centre is a 15-minute walk from the resort, where the impressive 19th century stone clock tower and the minaret towers act as useful navigational aids. While you’re in the area you shouldn’t miss the open air Sandland museum to the east of Antalya. Here, sculptors show off their skills using sand to mould an impressive range of creatures. At night they are illuminated using all colours of the rainbow, creating the perfect conditions for an Instagrammable shot of a lion, mermaid, knight or temple.

Super family holiday
Just back from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. We traveled as a family of 5, children 12 and 1 year. So many things to entertain them all. Entertainment staff are super friendly and encourage the kids to join in with all activities, our favourite entrainment staff member was Imogen. Water park also caters for all age groups with big slides for older kids, small slides for younger and play park. Food through out the day was delicious and plenty to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back. Only thing I would not recommend is the beach. The beach is dirty and smelly and not worth the bus trip there. I’d say stay at the hotel and enjoy the facilities they offer
Amazing Holiday & Even Better hotel
Do not be put off by negative reviews. I was very hesitant before coming here after looking at the reviews but I need not have wasted time worrying. The hotel is amazing. Food - huge offering in main restaurant, we have a few very fussy eaters (children - 6 & 3) and everyone always found something nice to eat. They cook on mass for all different nationalities and I think they do an amazing job. Yes it’s busy but given the size of the hotel it’s bound to be. Just be patient. Right at the end of restaurant past the Chinese area is a door to kids area which again we only discovered late in holiday. The pool snack strip is really good to. Open 12-6pm it has Pizza shop, kebab shop, chicken & chips, jacket potatoes, slush shop, ice cream bar. Also worth noting that not a single one of us has been poorly. Facilities - this place offers everything, lots of slides (you need a wrist band for kids from guest relations) lots of pools, kids slides area & then a smaller kids slide area along with main pool over pleasure island side aswell as a main pool near hotel. If you go around the side of the main hotel you will also find another small kids pool which we didn’t discover until last day. It has a fair & arcade which you can pay to load a card for. Bowling alley & cinema. Entertainment - Brilliant, shows of evening are very very good, all outside. Bars - there’s a few bars dotted about and the drinks are strong, they offer a great variety of cocktails. Woke up with a fuzzy head a few times. Staff - Staff are amazing, they do not stop working to keep the hotel immaculate. Always smiled and said hello back to me, ok their English is not amazing but better than my Turkish and this hotel is not mostly British guests so don’t expect it to be. Belek Town - 10min walk or 5euro in Taxi, shop after shop of fake goods, never seen any nice restaurants or bars there but Land of Legends has all that. We didn’t book Land of Legends, we just went of evening (free to get in) lots of really high end shops, nice restaurants and a free fountain show at 10pm. It’s such a beautiful place and huge. All in all we have throughly enjoyed our holiday here and would recommend it.
Value for Monday - Fantastic Hotel
This is an excellent hotel with lots to do for all ages, the facilities are first class and the service is excellent. The pool party is fantastic for all ages and the food street is the best lunch selection you’ll ever see in a hotel. Lots of positives!
