Good but STAIRS!!!

This is a nice hotel, reception and bar/ restaurant staff all great. If you have any issues about anything speak to Gordon, he's usually about the pool/bar area. As mentioned in title the stairs are horrific, if you have any mobility issues or just at that age I would look elsewhere. There are rooms at pool but cost us £20 per night extra. Took 3 days to get moved to. Regular bus to hisaronu and fethiye stops at reception and taxi are frequent. We had a good time here. I would give 4. Seriously tho... STAIRS.

I stayed here from 13th to 18th October with 5 friends for a relaxed break. We arrived very early morning and check in was efficient, there are a lot of steps and the lift was broken on the first night, luckily there were 2 lovely men who carried our cases up 90 steps for us. Lift was fixed by the next morning, the room looked as it if had been recently renovated but ours was missing a chair for the desk and the sheet you sleep under was very scratchy and small, worth asking for another. Their problem with the room is the smell coming from the bathroom, I assume it is from sewerage but it was over powering. The 3 next door had it even worse amd at one point we had to air the room before entering as it was just too much. The toilet also broke after every flush so my friend learned to fix it herself. Also their skirting board was starting to come off the wall and my friend stubbed her toe quite badly. The food is repetitive with some questionable meat as not specified what it is, but you can have an omelette or toastie in the morning, good salad bar and very attentive staff. My friend slipped and cut her toe on the table and a server looked after her, cleaned and put a plaster on her toe and gave her some spares. Drinks varied day to day, as we were end of season cocktails that were available at the beginning soon were not so ended up with a very minimal choice. Also, the wine (I tried, red, white and rose) are all awful, I couldn't druink them so switched to beer. Drinks ranged in strength depending on who made them. I would warn people that it is best to shop around for prices for trips such as para gliding, Turkish spas etc, people are advised to go off site by certain staff and actually those rates are not always cheaper. I would say it is best to do your own research rather than relying on people mentioned in previous reviews as we had a negative experience and noticed less than morally right dealings occurring. The beach is beautiful, plenty of beds as end of season and the area and resort is lovely. 95% of staff very courteous and honest. I think with a few tweaks this could be a really good place to stay.

OK, let's talk about the elephants in the room or hotel. If you have trouble climbing stairs this may not be the hotel for you. Or if you're looking for a wild party place...you'll need to rethink you choice of hotel. They have a lift which takes you almost to the top level but depending where your room is you may need to tackle some stairs This is a stunning location, and the views across the lagoon are amazing. Room We had a room with a lagoon view and the balcony was massive ( 3 chairs and a small table) lower level rooms have smaller balconies). Nice comfortable bed and blanket( we asked the maid for 2 sheets..no problem) Clean and modern, tv, fridge and hair dryer in bathroom. Good powerful shower with assorted shower heads....Nice touch. Towels provided but need renewing...IMO...but that said they were clean and fresh. Take a few hangers and the room could do with a set of drawers. A/C was prefect and worked well. Meals Breakfast Good choice for all. Freshly cooked omelette and fried eggs. Boil eggs also available. Lunch, good choice of cold and hot foods and always found something to eat Good choice of desserts and fruits Snacks are snack and a bit later you get cakes etc. Dinner again good choice as per lunch but added is a bbq every night cooking fish, grilled veg and chicken etc. Drinks are as per normal when you go all inclusive. Coffee, tea, water, juices on tap all day....beer, wine etc 11am - 11.30 pm. Location Restaurant and bar overlook the lagoon, not a large pool but who needs the pool when you're on top of the lagoon..( only used the pool twice, rest of the time I swam in the lagoon) One you've got to ground level ( please note there is a small lane you have to cross to get from the accommodation to the main hotel facilities unless you are lucky enough to get a room superior room that sits right on the lagoon) Lovely and well looked after gardens with plenty of seating, loads of sun beds to pick out by the pool, on the beach, terrace or the pontoon. Gym above the the pool bar.....needs some TLC Staff All staff were very helpful and did everything to make your stay a good one. Gordon is the new operation manager....any problems talk to him...super helpful The hotel have new owners and they are making big changes over the next year. I'm not saying this is a prefect hotel but is not a 4 or 5 star....it can be in time. I given it tops marks a for a number of reasons 1 setting, 2 room, 3 food and 4 value for money that I paid for the holiday given its all inclusive,. Safe cost £20 for a week...we had 10 days £30. Late check out (4pm) £30 Don't walk the lane to and from town at night....there are wild boars roaming around and they are massive. Local bus 65 lira to olu deniz, taxi 250 lira....so if you are a couple or more get a taxi. 90 lira to Hisranou
