Our first family holiday! Can’t complain.

Well where do I start? For our first family holiday we can’t complain. Everything we needed right here. We did do a few trips via taxi to the crocodile park (don’t recommend that) we went to a marina, to the BioParc zoo (100% recommend that) and went for a few walks only when the sun wasn’t out as we couldn’t sit by the pool on those days. All the staff were so kind, polite and great English speaking! I didn’t feel anything was too much of a problem. The food all I see is complaints but I can not fault one thing; the selection is HUGE, so many fresh vegetables and fruit. It was amazing; different bits each nights, some nights had similar items but they were delicious so I didn’t mind! It was good for us to try new foods too. I have to point out the lady at the Chinese on the Friday night, smaller lady blonde hair, oh wow, she was the best, so good to my 5 & 2 year old. Gave my little one a cuddle on the way out. So attentive and kind. For the price we paid we can’t complain! A few things could of been better but it was fine! Such as; our beds were always made and room tidied but our bed sheets were never changed, so after a week of hot sweaty kids and a few stains of chocolate or crisp hands it was a bit yucky but it’s fine we don’t mind. And perhaps the indoor pool to be open longer so kids can go later on in the day, as they can only use it 10-2 so we never got chance and missed out as we were always to late or doing something else to fill the day. And I wish there was a kettle in my room, as I found I couldn’t get a hot drink throughout the day unless I used the vending machine, I ended up drinking multiple at breakfast. Perhaps if I had asked they would of gave me one. I did find the gift shop very expensive; so we just got the odd thing. And also keeping the fence around the pool I thought ruined how beautiful it is. The first day we got here it wasn’t up, but after that it was always up around the pool, I understand for safety reasons but it’s a shame! Also a lot of flies around the pool when trying to lay down, always batting them off us. But these ARE NOT complaints just a few things we’ve spotted whilst being here. But the hotel has so many positives, the decor is beautiful, the turtles were great to look at, the fish pond was lovely, the waterfall was very relaxing. Every where was always so clean! No litter no mess spotlessly clean. I would return again, but perhaps in the summer august season, as October was just a little too cold for us, and unpredictable weather. Some absolutely beautiful views out the windows around the hotel! I will recommend the hotel to others!

Enjoyed it but more suitable for families than couples

Positives We enjoyed our stay but it is more suitable for families than couples. The staff are very hard working and friendly. The hotel is beautiful and very unusual. The rooms are spacious and our bed was comfortable The electric car charger was a real bonus. Negatives Would like the room cleaned every day and fresh towels. Used cotton buds were on the corridor for days which suggests that the cleaner hadn’t been along there or wasn’t very thorough. The behavior of some children running around the dining room makes it unsuitable for adults without children. (This must be equally as disappointing for staff) The sun beds are very uncomfortable, very worn and can feel the bars underneath. In conclusion we enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay again.

Decent but could be so much better

Family holiday with 3 young kids. Good - Hotel is generally very nice inside, very clean, spacious, pool area has nice views over the Mediterranean, staff are nice and friendly, kids club open 10am until 6pm, animation staff great, pool area is good. Not so good - for a hotel so geared towards children the evening meal time is really late (7pm start), the kids mini disco is also really late in starting (9.15pm), food is ok but very repetitive, beach club is ok but labelling it a water park is a stretch, the mass of glass windows that look out over the pool area look really grubby from the inside, sun loungers are poor. All in all a decent holiday - the hotel has so much potential though and could do better.
