GF Gran Costa Adeje
7997 reviews
Undeniably luxurious, the GF Gran Costa Adeje is a 5-star oasis adjacent to the sun-soaked sands of Duque Beach, along the south coast of Tenerife. Flaunting not only a stand-out location but glamorous superior sea-facing rooms, top-notch gastronomy and a bio-spa complete with a hot tub, holistic treatments and hammam, you’re in for an unforgettable escape!
Looking like it just stepped off the pages of a high-end interior decor magazine, this hotel gets top marks for its contemporary style. And there’s no shortage of suave inside its rooms either. Whether you opt for mountain vistas or Atlantic panoramas, deluxe doubles or senior suites, the facilities here are top-notch. As standard, you can expect a king-size bed (or two single beds), bathrobes, toiletries, a minibar and a pillow menu for premium comfort. Upgrade to the Royal or Imperial option for a whopping 170m² of space, a bubbling whirlpool, two bedrooms and two bathrooms!
As for your taste buds, they’re in for a treat too. La Fincca is the main buffet spot with a wide variety of dishes to suit every palate. Breakfast is made up of sizzling bacon, pancakes dripped in honey and spreads of fresh fruit served between 7:30am and 10:30am. Follow the smell of warm doughy bread at 1:30pm for Lunch, and don’t forget to go back for seconds any time before 3:30pm. Dinners are made up of grilled meats, creamy pasta dishes and cheesy pizzas from 6:30pm until 9:30pm. For something more specialised, Restaurant Grill La Laja whips up an excellent fried fish paired with one of its international wines. Or you can always opt to take advantage of the 24-hour room service and dine on your balcony.
Cocktails under the sun anyone? With three supersize pools and a waterside bar mixing up refreshments, you can while away the hours topping up your tan. That’s when you’re not taking part in its themed parties, Zumba classes and aqua gym. And this hotel may be all glitz and glamour, but you’ll still find traditional entertainment such as bingo and billiards. Need to escape the cannon balls and games of hide and seek? The adult-only bar located on the sixth floor is open between 11am and 6pm (you can thank us later). When dusk falls, live music and dance shows provide hours of fun!
When you can tear yourself away from your outstanding hotel, explore the delights of Costa Adeje. The beaches of Fanabe and Duque are only 500 metres away, perfect for families and watersport fanatics. And for thrills and spills in the shape of jaw-dropping waterslides and artificial wave pools, the largest waterpark in Europe, Siam Park is a short eight-minute drive. But most importantly, you’ll walk out of your complex and be greeted by a luxury mall, gourmet restaurants and lively bars offering non-stop entertainment. Playa de las Americas is also nearby when you fancy a change of scenery.

Impressive
We stayed for a week just beofre half term. On arrival the hotel is impressive. Very clean and well staffed. Its in a great location and the market out front was great as the shopping malls nearby are designer and overpriced! I had to ask "Is that included on all inclusive" the La Finca buffet is the only "free" restaurant, the others serve better food and come at a charge. Although AI customers get a discount, I think maybe AI should get one evening meal free of charge for their stay. All inclusive turns out to not mean ALL. Frustrating as the holiday was expensive. The other issue we faced was on the weekend they had weddings and the sunbeds were all squashed together and there wasn't room to manover our buggy through. The noise was very loud as the celebrations were happening right outside our room. For the price of the hotel I would have liked a slide or two for the kids. The food was good, I would have really liked salt and pepper on the table as the scrambled eggs were awful and needed seasoning! The team in the restaurant were great, very busy and dealt well with it. Finding a high chair took far too long and they took our cutlery before we had finished eating. I asked for a red wine one evening and the waiter had no clue what I was saying. The cleaning team were amazing! Little things that would have made it perfect. •More baby changing facilities. •Better snack bar menu (to reflect 5* rating) •Salt and Pepper on tables •Coffee/milk replenished in rooms. I enjoyed my stay here and would return just for the cleanliness and location. ●TOP TIP...VISIT LEVEL6 ( It's stunning)
Lovely clean hotel, great location.
From the minute we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, this continued throughout the stay. This hotel has lovely facilities and is spotlessly clean. The rooms are big, and so is the bathroom and clean and as previously said by others slightly dated, the air conditioning in this room wasn't great and barely cooled the room, which was about the only negative thing I could say. The pool areas are lovely, plenty of sunbeds, and my teenage son enjoyed the activities around the pool. People reserving sun loungers did have towels and belongings removed by hotel staff at 9.45 ish if it was unattended, personally I think this is great and enjoyed watching the selfish people having their towels taken. There were plenty of clean towels everyday. I was all inclusive, but did choose to pay extra at the pool bar for lunch. Breakfast was good with lots of choice, I found the evening meal very repetitive and did eat out one of the evenings. Again this was personal choice and there was plenty to have that was included on the all inclusive. The location of the hotel is excellent, lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep and only 10 minute walk to the beach. The evening entertainment seemed to be very similar every night, club type singers, however we did enjoy the magician. It is a lovely hotel, and I would certainly recommend this hotel for families and would definitely return. It really is personal choice if you want all inclusive, but there are plenty of eating options on the doorstep if you decide against it.
Beautiful
We arrived here on the 3rd October at around 11pm. Upon arriving the receptionist we was seen by wasnt the most welcoming. There was no welcome just “passports” we was handed all of our keys and told the direction to go to to our room. We left our luggage with the bell boy to bring it up. Arriving at our room we was shocked to see how big it was, we was at the end of the corridor. We tried to sort the wifi out and it wasnt working(i needed it for work). So we rung down to reception to let them know there was some issues. They said they was sending someone up now.. 20 minutes had gone by.. no luggage still..& no sign of maintence. We decided to walk down to reception to ask for another room as there was a few other issues aswell. When walking there the bell boy had come with our luggage. We was then given the phone and i spoke to reception explaining our issues.. then back at our room the bell boy snatched my phone out of my hand not believing there was an issue with the wifi. The next day.. problems was sorted due to us ringing jet 2! We had paid alot of money for this hotel so we wanted our moneys worth. Maintence came and fixed the issues we had. Positives; Rooms were very spacious! Bathroom was nice! The pool areas! They were just beautiful, plenty of beds! Towel police do come round ar 9.30/45 to remoce towels from unattended beds! Which we always found pretty fun to watch. Entertainment around the pool was good! Fashion shows from a pop up shop. Oktoberfest was also very good. Aswell as the activities they done in the main pool. The rooftop pools view was just amazing! Was so nice to look over adeje We stayed b&b and there was a large selection which you could never get bored off, was always very nice food. Overall we would definatly stay again! A few minor issues that was sorted in the end. But the hotel is in a beautiful location with lots of resturants& bars around
