Cyprus is brimming with archaeological sites and temples all waiting to be discovered. If you're based near Paphos, a trip to see the Paphos mosaics is a must. These date from the 5th century and depict scenes from Greek mythology. Our top tip: the mosaics in the House of Dionysus are the most impressive.

Cyprus' famous nightlife comes in many flavours, from the top clubs of Ayia Napa, to lively evenings in a local tavern.
